Folk Artist Morna Crites-Moore
All the pieces today are the work of folk artist Morna Crites-Moore. She felts wool using 'abandonded' sweaters and blankets to make these wonderful pieces - pinchusions, needle cases, small rugs and more.
'Make-do' pincushion above made from felted wool atop a vintage glass candlestick holder, embellished with pins, buttons, a bird, and a brown wool felt star stitched on top.
Blue crow make-do pincushion.
Small needlecase with vintage button on top.
These two pieces are small textile pictures.
Multi-colored penny rug.

Thank you so much for featuring my work at Softies Central. My daughter sent the link to me this morning. Your weblog is delightful. What a treat to be part of it. -Morna
