When I was a little girl, my favorite Halloween was when I was dressed as a pumpkin...looking a lot like the little guy above. As an adult, I laughed hysterically when a guy showed up at a party in Los Angeles with hundreds of little Corgi cars attached to a white jumpsuit - he was supposed to be the '405 freeway at rush hour.' Now, living on the East Coast, I get to experience the season's cold, blustery days, farmers markets with tons of apples, and spooky decorations on the brownstones in Brooklyn.
What could be more fun than trick or treating? Looking for Halloween softies on etsy of course! The pumpkin above is from Little Purl One in the UK, the crocheted candy corn below is a design by Pepperberry (in spooky Salem, MA!) and below that is a needle felted doll face, not techniquely described as a Halloween softie by its maker, but I think, kinda creepy - in a good way of course! That's by Making Mitsi, also from across the pond.
Congratulations on the blog! That little pumpkin is sooo cute. I so wish we did halloween here in Australia to the extent that it is done over there - and the weather was cooler and it snowed at christmas, I will just have to re-locate!
