Here are a few new softie-makers that I've recently come across...some are new at making softies and some are just new to me.
I love felt food and I'm excited to share this new-ish softie designer from Australia. She's selling an e-book of instructions for making them on ebay and also on her site Felt Cuisine.
This is a nice amigurumi cat made by first-time amigurumi maker Bethany Studios! Quite nice for a first gurumi! And poor thing, he's being tortured and eaten by her pet bird!
Here's a cute sock toy from Strumpfkunst in Germany. Gila sells them with their own painting and bedtime story.
A big hand for moms that make softies just for their kid's themed birthday party! Here are a couple of tiki dolls from Modern Jax for her toddler's Hawaiian party.
More deliciousness - there's a free knitting pattern for making this great chocolate bar with wrapper on Craft Bits
And finally, in case you haven't heard yet, there's a new softie group on etsy called Plush Team - check out their blog - I hear there will be contests and lots of updates on where softie-makers are showing up at DIY fairs across the country.
Love the Tikis
