Sweet animals made for love.
This designer is new to me and lives in Chipping Norton - I don't know where in
England that is but I want to go there! This little guy has a red Santa hat and a hot water bottle - looks like he's ready for a long Christmas eve night. You can always tell the best needlefelted pieces by how tight the wool is -- see how smooth he is and how you can't see the loose threads? It takes a lot of time and patience and skill to make such a nice softie. He's by redflannelelephant and unfortunately (for me!) was sold months ago.

Hey, that's me - or rather, that's Sam - thank you so very much, I am really honoured to be on one of my favourite blogs. Chipping Norton is in the Cotswolds, West Oxfordshire.
You are so right about the time - I spend about 1-2 hours on a beak alone, just getting it tight, and Sam would have taken roughly 20 hours.
I love Fernanimals, I must get one of her lions.
