Softies Awards entry period has ended

A BIG thanks to everyone who entered the Softie Awards! The entry period is now closed. The judges will be reviewing all the entries and when I have their Top 5 I'll set up the voting site. I'm hoping to get that up by end of the week although the darn day job gets in the way of all my softies work! :-) So it may be next weekend.

We had about 1200 entries this time - so that's a lot of cute photos to look over. Take a peek at them all here.

I'll post updates here and on the flickr group page.

So if you've entered the Softie Awards, you might be wondering if you have any chance of winning. And the answer is, depending on the category, you may have more or less competition.

Here are the stats:

Picnic Food - 90 entries
Embroidered to Death - 93 entries
Elephant Tribute - 119 entries
Pink or Plaid - 206 entries
Cutest Face - 482 entries!!!

So if you can post a softie to the group today in the Picnic Food or Embroidered category, you would have a great chance! Cutest Face softies  - the competition is fierce!
