My fav is Susie Ghahremani. This is totally true - i keep buying note cards and little notepads from her, intending of course to use them, but then I love her work so much, I can't bear to part with them! I bought a set of 'here's my new address' cards when I moved to LA 6 months ago -- and i never sent even one of 'em out!
So lucky for me (and everyone else in Los Angeles), Susie has an art gallery show opening next weekend at Giant Robot - yeh!. I know if you read this blog and you live in LA, you'll be there -- for those of you in other parts, you can see more of her work and links to the show here.

This is important. There is a movement afoot in Australia called The Toy Society with softie makers leaving softies in public places to be found by random people. Spreading softie love and creativity - this is an idea that could be spread across the globe and make a lot of people happy. Remember the last time you found a penny in the street? Just a short post to say I know I've been neglecting this space for several weeks now. The saddest news for me - my sweet cat Mabel died last Friday. It was rather sudden - a downhill spiral in a week's time. I've been so unable to do much and hope you guys will understand. I'm planning on getting back to finding softies and showing them to you over the weekend - so hopefully, I'll have a new post next week.
