Hi everyone! It's me, Lucky.....I'm on the road again...

I had a GREAT time in San Antonio....slipped out to see the sights like the River Walk...had a couple of beers and then back to work at Yarn Barn greeting all my fans. That's me above walking to my next stop - Sheepy Yarn Shoppe in White Bear Lake, MN. I've never been there -- do bears eat dogs?!???

Day 3 in Cleveland

  Hi, it's me Lucky, I'm back blogging....

Well, it's been a whirlwind 3 days in Cleveland so far! Stitch Cleveland is a great place and we got a warm welcome from the local contingent of softies...maybe a little too warm if you know what I mean. See how they're climbing all over me in the photo below!

I think the sock monkey on the top is pretty cute though - you can see I've got my eye on him - what an acrobat - he is doing headstands just to get my attention! I love being famous! Oh, and my favorite magazine, CRAFT wrote about my trip too!

And did you notice....T. finally got around to getting a new logo button for the Holiday Softie Awards and guess who's the mascot? ME! Do you see it? On the right sidebar? Pretty cute with that hat, don't you think?

Lucky's On-the-Road Diary

Hello! My name is Lucky and I'm taking over Softies Central today. If I look familiar, it's because I'm on the cover of my new book, Softies, Simple Instructions for 25 Plush Pals. Yup! That's me on the left looking at that silly bird on top of the whale! I'd say I'm ONE of the 25 plush pals in the book, but the truth is, I'm THE plush pal - that's why I'm on the cover, dude!

The reason I'm posting today is because I'm currently on the road touring to promote the book. Me and a couple of pals from the book are traveling across America to let people know about softies and get a close up look at us. If you scroll down, you'll see T. posted about the tour on Friday but neglected to mention that I was the STAR of the show, so I decided I'd better start my own diary here so you'll get all the details of what it's like being the cutest softie in the world and having to fend off annoying fans who want a piece of you (ugh, frightening!).

So like I said, that's me at home in my favorite chair (kinda wish I was there now!), but I've just arrived in Cleveland at Stitch Cleveland and a very nice lady named Shannon is seeing to my every need! Can you say unlimited peanut butter and all the organic dog biscuits you could ever want! YUM! Tomorrow we'll be meeting fans and talking about the book and more importantly, how I went from a scrap of terry cloth to the wonderfulness you see above.
